Hello Keegan!

I know, I know I haven't blogged in.... well, too long.
Here's the thing: I was waiting for Keegan. I knew that he was coming any day and I kept telling myself that if I just waited one more day I'd have pictures of him to share.... and then that day would be over... but surely the next day he'd arrive....

Well! 42 weeks and 5 days of cooking time is what this boy needed. That's right- you didn't misread: almost 43 weeks! Sheramy is amazing!

And after a quick active labor there is a super super mellow baby.

I love love the baby feet with the very snuggly looking longies.

Thank you so much Sheramy for having me over to hang out with you and your family while capturing the uniqueness of Keegan's newness. Off to work on birth announcements for Mr. Keegan.

An actor

My brother contacted me to ask if I could do head shots for him.
He needs them for his resume- he's a theater major.
Sure, no problem.
They were soooo fun! What a change from new babies:) I love love the snuggly little people but it's also fun to tell someone to move this way or that and... they do it! I couldn't convince my brother to curl into a ball with a blanket wrapped around him but it turned out we still got some great head shots.

I know, I know- my baby brother is a senior in college (except he's on the five year plan...) but this shoot made me really look forward to the start of high school senior portrait season!

He's in a play in April that I can't wait to see! When I know more details I'll update this post.

And just for fun...

Thank you for thinking of me when you knew you needed head shots, Douglas. It was great to see you. Hope you're having a blast with your nephew (my son) this weekend!
