Fauxto Booth from the Portrait Party

Do you remember Chelsea's Portrait Party from a couple weeks ago? Right before everyone jumped into the pool Chelsea and her friends took turns posing in the Brown Eyed Photography Fauxto booth. Here are some favorites:

Thank you again everyone for coming out for the Portrait Party. Hope you're enjoying your last couple days of summer vacation!

J-Man at the bay in St. Albans, Vermont

Joe met with me super duper early and even brought his friend Sarah (some of her pictures are already up on facebook) to take advantage of group shoot rates. Joey thought it would be nice to go to the bay... and he was right! There was a great stone building, lots of open green space, and of course water.

Thanks so much Joe! I had fun hanging out with you and can't wait to hear what you think of the pictures!

Emma in farm country

Emma was in town for her dad's wedding and wanted me to do her senior pictures. I was thrilled to meet Emma and even more pleased to discover how delightful she is.

Emma was fun to hang out with for a couple hours and up for any suggestions... she even came up with some fun ideas of her own.

Last minute senior

This beautiful senior never seemed to have time in her super busy schedule to squeeze in getting her senior photos done. Thankfully she is on the year book comittee. The pictures are due today and I was able to email her 3 options last night. The rest of the images will be in the mail tomorrow.

Karly lives in the perfect place for outdoor portraits. It was very cold but Karly braved the low temps by going bare foot. Actually, for this picture I was in sock feet too. Brr!

Karly really really wanted to have some pictures with snow. Most mornings we woke up to some snow but it burned off by 10am. I considered going and pounding on her door around 7am the morning after this shoot so that we could get some snow shots... but I assumed Karly didn't want snow pictures that bad!

Thanks Karly for going along with some of my crazy ideas. The pictures turned out great and I can't wait for you to see them! They'll be in the mail tomorrow. Enjoy!

Fall is here

My sister-in-law was up for a photo shoot when she visited this weekend. She was such a good sport about trying out different poses and even suggesting some really great pose ideas. This made my job really easy. I was a little nervous that it would be too cold but the weather stayed warm for us this weekend.

Her blue shirt really made those big eyes stand out.

We were a little nervous that it was going to start raining. The pre-rain wind was great for these portraits.

I saw this wall and knew it would made an awesome backdrop. Chelsea is super tall so we had to figure out how to get her at a height where the wall would be behind her. She was more than happy to lay on the leaf strewn sidewalk for

This image was her idea. She asked if she could squat in the road like this. It ended up being one of my favorites.

Thank you so much Chelsea for being so enthusiastic about this shoot. It was very fun and I can't wait to take your senior pictures next summer.
